Working out in college, in retrospect, seems like it should be an easy thing. I thought that I would have so much time during my day that I would easily be able to workout whenever I wanted to. I thought it would be so easy to just go over to the gym and do a nice hour long workout consisting of an elliptical run and some weight training.
Man, was I in for a shock.
I didn’t really realize that 2 and a half hour labs existed and that I actually need to dedicate a good amount of my day to studying, going to class, and clubs/activities (to keep me sane). So, when I got to college, finding time to workout was hard at first.
I felt like I had no time to get in a good workout…
But, over time, I found that some days I have plenty of time to do a nice long workout, but those days are few and far between (aka they only occur on Saturdays and Sundays).
To combat this, I went to YouTube and searched “quick workouts” because I still wanted to workout but I didn’t have as much time to do an hour workout. I settled on 25 minute (or less) videos because I always seem to have 20 minutes to spare, but I don’t really have the hour plus it would take me to do a traditional workout.
So, with that being said, here are 10 of the workout videos that I fell in love with during my first semester of college. I hope you have as much fun doing them as I do.
