10 Quick Workout Videos

Working out in college, in retrospect, seems like it should be an easy thing. I thought that I would have so much time during my day that I would easily be able to workout whenever I wanted to. I thought it would be so easy to just go over to the gym and do a nice hour long workout consisting of an elliptical run and some weight training.

Man, was I in for a shock.

I didn’t really realize that 2 and a half hour labs existed and that I actually need to dedicate a good amount of my day to studying, going to class, and clubs/activities (to keep me sane). So, when I got to college, finding time to workout was hard at first.

My Go-To HIIT Workout

For the longest time, I was scared of HIIT workouts. I can’t remember exactly what made me scared of them, but (for some very obscure reason) I was terrified of HIIT workouts. Whenever I was doing a workout calendar, I would skip over the HIIT workouts because I was scared.

I think I compared HIIT to Crossfit (which still scares me, but I’m looking into trying Crossfit some time in the near future). I think I thought HIIT was hard and scary and required a lot of strength (all of my strength is found in my right calf) that I didn’t necessarily have.

I just had a really irrational fear of HIIT.
